Born in Panama City, Panama on June, 1974—is one of his country’s most active conductors and composers. Aside from his current positions as Music Director of the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Istmeña and Project Manager for YOA-Orchestra of the Americas, Robles has appeared as guest conductor with the Orquestra Sinfônica "Dois de Julho" (Brazil), the New England Conservatory Youth Philharmonic, the Joven Orquesta y Coro de Centroamérica (JOCCA), and the Youth Orchestra of the Americas Camerata among other ensembles. His works have been performed in several countries; recent commissions include the JOCCA, where he participated as Resident Composer.
Upcoming engagements include guest appearances with the Bahía Symphony Orchestra, and a repeat engagement with the "Dois de Julho" Orchestra. Robles holds degrees from the Universidad Santa María La Antigua, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Chicago.
