Timothy began viola while living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. When his family relocated to Springfield, Virginia, Timothy became principal viola of the American Youth Philharmonic and All Virginia Orchestras, while studying with William Foster through the National Symphony Youth Fellowship Program. Timothy continued his studies at the Juilliard School with Samuel Rhodes and Toby Appel, where he was a rotating principal violist and active in the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra program with the Juilliard School. After earning his Bachelors of Music Performance degree he attended The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England while studying with Alexander Zemtsov, where he was a rotating principal violist. Timothy's education was funded by the Leverhulme Trust and the Ross Limited Prize, and Timothy is currently in The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra.
