Native
of Regina, SK began playing cello at age 5. Born into a
musical family, he quickly became an active orchestral player, joining
the Regina Symphony Orchestra at the young age of 16. He
completed his undergraduate studies at the Glenn Gould School of Music
in Toronto, and then went on to the Cleveland Institute of Music to
pursue a Professional Studies Diploma with cellist Stephen
Geber. During his years in school, Trevor continued to be an
active orchestral musician, playing with professional orchestras such
as Orchestra London, Windsor Symphony and the Canton Symphony Orchestra
as well as participating in orchestral summer programs such as the
Kent/Blossom Music Festival. After completing his studies, Trevor
joined the New World Symphony where he was a principal cellist for one
year before joining the cello section of the Oregon Symphony in the
Fall of 2005. Along with his active performing career, Trevor
is also an avid teacher and chamber musician.
